A fisherman reeled in a world record when he netted this whopping carp in sub-zero temperatures.

South Darenth angler Martin Locke was wearing just a T-shirt when he pulled in the monster from a fishing spot in southern France, braving temperatures as low as -3C.

He is pictured with the carp above, wearing slightly more.

Tipping the scales at 94lbs, the giant weighs the same as pint-sized pop star Kylie Minogue and beat the previous record by about 3lbs.
