Kent Police investigate reports of sexual assault in Greenhithe

Kent Police are investigating reports of a sexual assault in Greenhithe in the early hours of this morning.

Forensic teams have been gathering evidence at Alkerden Lane, where a woman in her 20s claimed she was attacked at around 1am.

A Kent Police spokesman said no arrests had been made by 8am Saturday, although the road remained closed at the junction with Bean Road while a thorough search of the area continued.
