Kim Albone accused of killing Antoine Denis

A woman accused of fatally stabbing a pensioner in Chatham appeared in court today.

Kim Albone, 39, spoke only to confirm her name during the brief preliminary hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.

It is alleged that she murdered 66-year-old Antoine Denis, whose body was discovered in a flat at Copperfield House, New Road, on January 9.

Albone, of Luton Road, Chatham, was remanded in custody until her next court hearing on April 22.

Judge Andrew Patience QC provisionally fixed her trial to start on July 26.
