The latest results of people appearing for crimes in front of magistrates across Kent have been published by police.

Here, we round up the latest convictions for a variety of offences including driving, dangerous dog orders and thefts.

North Kent

Nicolae Grigore, aged 36, of Castle Road, Chatham, was sentenced on August 12 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, and without insurance, in Gillingham, on July 10, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 119 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Richard Hesse Owusu, aged 37, of Sewell Close, Essex, was sentenced on August 11 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Rochester, on July 24, 2021.

He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for two years, disqualified from driving for 36 months and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £128 and costs of £85.

Gabriella Tokorova, aged 22, of no fixed address, was sentenced on September 1 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to theft from a shop, on August 13, 2021. She stole £295.23 worth of goods from a shop in Gravesend.

She was sentenced to prison for 120 days, suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months and pay a surcharge of £128.

Reece Shorter, aged 22, of Westbrook Road, Welling, was sentenced on August 31 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Greenhithe, on August 3, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 99 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 42 months and ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Danny Proctor, aged 21, of Wey Close, Chatham, was sentenced on August 23, 2021 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article, in Chatham, on July 14, 2020.

He was ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay surcharge of £95 and £85 costs.

Jadwiga Czerniecka, aged 55, of Princes Road, Dartford, was sentenced on August 17 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Gravesend, on July 10, 2021.

When stopped she gave a reading of 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £120. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Stephen Stewart, aged 36, of Northwood Avenue, Rochester, was sentenced on August 17, 2021 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis, in Dartford, on March 25, 2021.

He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Mohamed Thayer, aged 22, of Bastable Avenue, Barking, was sentenced on August 18 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving without due care or attention, speeding above 50mph, driving while unfit through drugs and using a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger in Gravesend, on February 6, 2021.

He was sentenced to a total of seven days in prison and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Emanuel Abe, aged 31, of Churchill Avenue, Chatham, was sentenced on September 8 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Dartford, on February 27, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 172 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £280. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

James Joyce, aged 29, of Conington Road, London, was sentenced on September 8 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to fraudulently using a registration mark/registration document, driving without third party insurance, driving a motor vehicle without a licence, driving when above the drug-drive limit in Gravesend, on July 26, 2021.

When tested he gave a reading of 200 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine (cocaine) in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £180. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £50 and costs of £500.

Ian Reynolds, aged 47, of Croxden Way, Eastbourne, was sentenced on September 8 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, and without a license, in Longfield, on August 7, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 123 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and disqualified from driving for 36 months. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £128 and costs of £85.

Sayinthan Theivasothy, aged 27, of Newbury Road, Erith was sentenced on September 7 at Margate Magistrates’ Court

He pleaded guilty to being the owner/person in charge of dog dangerously out of control causing injuries, in Chatham, on July 2, 2021.

He was sentenced to a total of six months in prison, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £3,000. He was also ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

East Kent

Joseph Farley, aged 20, of Hartsdown Road, Margate, was sentenced on August 10 at Folkestone Magistrates' Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Canterbury, on July 10, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay a fine of £323, a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Sonny Davies, aged 19, of Parsonage Fields, Ramsgate, was sentenced on August 31 at Margate Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Broadstairs, on August 17, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 91 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Gift Kugara, aged 41, of Old Dover Road, Canterbury, was sentenced on September 1 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Chatham, on August 2, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 46 months and ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Bonnie Sinclair, aged 44, of Sutton Road, Deal, was sentenced on September 1 at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Dover, on July 31, 2021.

When stopped she gave a reading of 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

She was disqualified from driving for 23 months and ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Bridget Connors, aged 40, of Lenham Road, Ashford was sentenced on September 7 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded not guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Maidstone, on June 22, 2020.

When stopped she gave a reading of 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £180 and was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

West Kent

Lee Hobden, aged 36, of Stratford Road, West Malling, was sentenced on August 6 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in West Malling, on July 3, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Josephine White, aged 49, of Benover Road, Yalding, was sentenced on August 6 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Yalding, on June 30, 2021.

She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £300. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Rebecca Boughton, aged 30, of Camomile Drive, Maidstone, was sentenced on August 31 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Maidstone, on August 3, 2021.

When stopped she gave a reading of 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 91 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

She was disqualified from driving for 23 months and ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

Alberto Ferrari, aged 65, of High Street, Orpington, was sentenced on September 2 at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Swanley, on August 3, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Paul Hay, aged 52, of Sergison Crescent, Staplehurst, was sentenced on August 25 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Maidstone, on July 26, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

Sorin Mihalache, aged 32, of Wheeler Street, Maidstone was sentenced on August 24 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, and without a license, in Maidstone, on August 7, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £350. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £35 and costs of £85.

Ryan Webb, aged 29, of The Heath, West Malling, was sentenced on August 25 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drug-drive limit, in Sevenoaks, on March 2, 2021.

When tested he gave a reading of 406 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine (cocaine) in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £500.

He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £50 and costs of £85.

Robert Barham, aged 39, of London Road, West Malling, was sentenced on August 19 at West Kent Magistrates’ Court in Sevenoaks.

He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit and when unfit through drugs, in West Malling, on January 29, 2021.

When stopped he gave a reading of 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.
