Bank RBS has set up Community Force, a nationwide initiative designed to help and support charities, organisations and groups by providing funding at a local level for local projects.

In Kent two cancer-related projects have been short-listed for an award of £6,000 each, and now they need the public's help to win the awards.

Before voting, you need to register with Community Force.

Then voters are entitled to vote for three projects.

The two Kent projects shortlisted are:

  • To support patients in Medway and Swale who get help from the Macmillan Positive Living Team
  • To help people affect by cancer through the provision of grants in Kent
