Man hurt as car crashes into garden

A MAN was taken to hospital after his car left the road and rolled over into a garden in Herne Bay Road at Sturry, near Canterbury.

He was freed by firefighters and taken to the QEQM Hospital at Margate with what is thought to be a leg injury.

The man’s Jeep and a Renault Clio were in collision at about 11.20pm on Saturday. The Renault ended up in the hedge but the three people inside were not injured.

The road was reopened at about 3.30am after the cars were removed and debris on the road cleared away.
