Man jailed for stabbing wife

A Kent man has been jailed for life for stabbing his wife to death in front of their two young children.

Lewes Crown Court heard how Hajrudin Hasanovic from Dover plagued Cassandra Hasanovic with threats after they separated.

He killed her with a kitchen knife as she tried to escape to a women's refuge in Bognor Regis in July last year.

The 34 year old, of Prescott Close in Guston denied murder pleaded guilty to manslaughter - he'll serve at least 18 years.
