An Ashford man is to stand trial following an alleged stabbing of his half-brother.

Patrick Diffley, 27, of Gorse Mead, denied wounding Elliott Diffley with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday.

The attack is alleged to have occurred at an address in Ashford on March 29.

Diffley was remanded in custody by Judge Michael Carroll until his trial starts in August.
