A man's body has been found at a flat in Margate.

Police were called to Hawley Square at around 5.20am Thursday.

They have sealed off part of the area while forensic investigations continue.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is now in custody.

Police say the death is being treated as unexplained.
