It’s been another month full of winners on Kent’s radio station, kmfm, with October proving there really were no tricks and only treats thanks to Thousand Pound Friday.

The monthly competition gives listeners the chance to win £1,000 on the final Friday of each month.

Entrants have 24 hours to take part – from 6pm Thursday until 6pm Friday – before one name is randomly selected.

This month, Adam Lawrence, in for Ben on Getting You Home, made the call to Anna Trigueirinho from Sevenoaks to reveal she’d won £1,000.

The mum-of-four plans to spend the money on a trip home to Poland for Christmas.

Speaking after the call, Anna said she was talking to her children about the idea of visiting home, but it was expensive.

As soon as she was revealed as the winner of the competition she knew that trip can now happen.

Following a record-breaking September of cash giveaways, kmfm is keeping the excitement going this autumn with even more chances to win – including an all-inclusive seven-night holiday to the brand new Sandals Saint Vincent Resort, coming next week.
