Parents are set to launch legal action after a heating duct fell on pupils as they were about to sit an exam.

Head teacher of Minster College, Alan Clee, said he had not been officially informed of the intended action.

But he understood why parents would consider taking the legal route after last Tuesday's incident.

He said he was due to meet with insurers on Thursday to discuss the case.
