Pensioner robbed at her sheltered home

A woman in her seventies has been attacked and robbed at her sheltered accommodation unit in Ashford.

A man followed her on Saturday afternoon, hitting her as she got to her flat at Oakleigh House in Watercress Lane.

The suspect, a white man who is thought to be about 6ft and in his thirties, then took her handbag and dragged her along the corridor.

The woman is been treated for a fractured shoulder.
