Police appeal as men face GBH charges

ARRESTS have been made in connection with an incident in which two men and a woman suffered facial injuries after allegedly being assaulted in the street.

Police are still appealing for information following the incident in Star Hill, Rochester, at about 3.30am on Sunday, December 3.

Det Sgt Noel Stanley, who is investigating the incident, said: "Our enquiries have revealed that there were lots of people in the area at the time of the incident.

He stressed: "I am very keen for these people to come forward."

A 27-year-old man from Chatham has apppeared before Medway magistrates charged with two counts of GBH and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was refused bail.

A 26-year-old Chatham man appeared before the same court charged with two counts of GBH. He was also refused bail.

A 19-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on suspicion of GBH. She was has been bailed to the police station pending further enquiries.

A 17-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on suspicion of GBH. She was released without charge.
