Police and forensic teams are investigating after a fight broke out in Herne Bay this afternoon.

A 27-year-old man from Herne Bay has been arrested in relation to the incident and a man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with an injury to his arm.

The injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A heavy police presence arrived in the High Street at around 4pm, along with the forensic investigators.

An area was cordoned off in the High Street, outside The Druids Head, and there was a heavy police presence near The Divers Arms on the Seafront.

It is believed the two men involved were known to each other.
