Police dog sniffs out large knife and drugs at Gravesend Railway Station during joint police operation

A police dog helped officers sniff-out drugs and a large knife during a joint operation at a railway station.

PD Piper was deployed with his handler to Gravesend Railway Station to assist a joint passive drugs operation between the Met Police, the British Transport Police and officers based in the town.

Officers used their stop and search powers on people who were travelling on the railway and with the help of PD Piper, found a quantity of drugs and the large knife.

It is understood police made two arrests during the operation.
