Police name Gravesend stab victim as Terence Wotton

Tributes have been paid to Terence Wotton - found dead in his home from multiple stab wounds.

Police have formally identified the 71-year-old, who died after the stabbing at Mackenzie Way, Gravesend on September 12.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Terence Wotton’s wife Joan said: "Terry was a caring, loving husband, dad, brother and grandad and he will be greatly missed by his family."

A post mortem found Mr Wotton died from multiple stab wounds.

Tony Wotton, 47, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court last Friday, charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody to appear again on Friday November 25.
