Police seize £8,000 of suspected drugs in Maidstone

Police have arrested a man in Maidstone after seizing what is believed to be more than £8,000 worth of drugs.

A property in Hollingworth Road, Park Wood, was raided on Wednesday, April 6.

Officers executed a warrant seizing a tub containing white paste and numerous wraps of white powder which, if confirmed as amphetamine, is thought to have a street value worth an estimated £8,000.

Police said yesterday that a 49-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and taken to Maidstone police station. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries until Tuesday, May 18.
