Following a last-gasp defeat for Gillingham at Southend on Friday night, fortunes were no better for Charlton or Ebbsfleet on Saturday.

Both sides lost in League One and the Blue Square Premier respectively.

Better news though for the rest of the county's non-league sides, with wins for Dover and Welling in Blue Square South and a draw for Bromley.

In the FA Trophy, Maidstone, Dartford, Tonbridge and Ramsgate all progressed to the next round.
