A MOTHER who had sex with two teenage boys who helped her with her bouncy castle business was today jailed for 18 months.

Branding Yvonne Renton a liar, a judge told her on Monday: "For whatever reason in 2002, you behaved in a way which may have been uncharacteristic, but it was seriously criminal."

A jury of eight women and four men last last week unanimously found the 39-year-old blonde guilty of four charges of indecent assault and one of intimidation.

Renton, of Tufton Road, Rainham, maintained that nothing sexual happened when she paid the youths, who were aged 15 and 14, £10 a time to help erect and take down the children’s inflatable castles.

The boys told Maidstone Crown Court that the mother-of-two, now estranged from her nightclub doorman husband, on different occasions performed a sex act on them and then had intercourse with them.

Renton, dressed in black, stood with her head bowed as she was jailed for nine months for the sex offences and nine months consecutive for intimidation.

She was banned from working with children indefinitely and will remain on the sex offenders' register for seven years.
