A 19-year-old man accused of murder has been remanded in custody.
Ikikibiya Manuel from Camberwell, south east London, appeared before Canterbury Magistrates' Court on Monday after being charged on Saturday.
He was arrested near to the scene in Brymore Road, Canterbury shortly after the incident on Thursday.
The 26-year-old victim has been named as local man Luke Brocklebank.
A post mortem revealed he died from a stab wound to the heart.
Manuel has been remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court in May.
