This stunning picture taken by Cuxton teenager Sam Baylis has won a national photographic competition.

Sam impressed the judges of the National Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition with the snap of the high speed rail bridge near Rochester, and scooped the prize for the Classic View youth section.

The shot has been exhibited at the National Theatre in London and will be published in the National Landscape Photographer of the Year book.

Sam, 14, also got one picture through to the final of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year competition and five through to the final of the British Wildlife Photography Awards.
