Thief steals unattended golfing equipment

GOLFING equipment worth nearly £1,500 has been stolen from outside the clubhouse at Stonelees Golf Course in Ebbsfleet Lane, Ramsgate. Police say the property was stolen between 2pm and 2.20pm on Saturday when it was left unattended by its owner, a 36-year-old Canterbury man.

The stolen items included a set of 14 Ping clubs with yellow and black handles worth about £1,200; a £150 Ping golf bag and a battery-operated golf trolley valued at £100.
