Thousands of pounds of booze stolen in alcohol raids in supermarkets in Ashford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tenterden, Tundbridge Wells and West Malling

Thieves have targeted at least half a dozen supermarkets in a series of booze raids across the county.

The brazen raiders stole alcohol worth more than £2,000 in raids at Ashford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells and West Malling.

All the thefts are thought to have taken place between Wednesday, July 23 and Saturday, August 9.

Police are now appealing for information from anyone who may recognise the man and woman shown in the photograph.

PC Nuri Sadik said: "These thefts have involved expensive alcoholic drinks including whiskies, vodkas and brandies.

"The crimes stretch across a large area of the county so we are hopeful somebody will come forward and help us."
