Margate's Turner Contemporary finally opens its doors for the
first time tomorrow after a decade of twists and turns.

The £17 million art gallery features an eye-catching painting by
JMW Turner himself, 'The Eruption of the Soufriere Mountains in the
Island of St. Vincent', as well modern art from six
up-and-coming artists, including Daniel Buren, Ellen Harvey
and Conrad Shawcross.

Until now, no-one has been allowed a look inside this landmark
building.

But in the last of our series of video reports, KentOnline's
Martin Jefferies looks at what a gallery on which so much
depends can offer the thousands of visitors expected in Margate
this weekend.
