Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No – it’s a UFO and it’s watching Sheppey.

That’s what a Sheerness resident who is convinced she has video footage of extra-terrestrial activity over the Island thinks.

Kathleen Donovan, who lives in Broadway, Sheerness, has seen a white light in the sky from her back garden every evening for the past two weeks.

The light is high in the sky and moves around quickly.

Towards the end of the video footage, which was filmed at the weekend, it then gets brighter and bigger.

Mrs Donovan, 57, said she does believe in UFOs, although at first her husband John was sceptical.

She said: “When we took the video it was moving really fast – the speed is amazing and it gets brighter as well.

“I think it’s a UFO. I was amazed."

Mrs Donovan said she got her husband to film it to prove it is actually there, and now he thinks it could be something from outer space.
