Viewers votes needed to fund new health clinic

PEOPLE will get the chance to vote for a pain clinic for Kent following a television programme being shown tomorrow.

Bob Smith, a volunteer at The Sunlight Centre, Gillingham, says plans for the Open Door clinic could get an £84,000 boost, but only if enough people vote for it.

Bob has put forward the project for a People's Millions grant being operated through Meridian Television.

Viewers see films about a variety of projects and then vote for those they think most deserving. Already film crews have been at the Sunlight Centre to film background material.

The chance to vote comes when the film about Bob's project will be shown during the 6pm news programme.
