But this has now been put back to 6pm tonight and there is no longer a risk of snow.

The county is still recovering from the flooding and damage caused by Storm Bella, but is now facing the third weather warning in the space of a week.

A previous warning for snow and ice was in place until Monday.

Under the yellow warning, residents are advised that there is a slight chance that bus and train services may be delayed or cancelled, with some road closures and longer journey times

There is also a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel

The weather also presents a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
