A motorcyclist is in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a crash in Chatham.

The 43-year-old rider, who has not been named, was in collision with a Nissan Micra on Princes Avenue, last Thursday, May 24, but details have only just been released by police.

The crash, between the blue Micra and a black Kawasaki motorbike, happened at the junction with Wheatear Way.

The rider suffered serious injuries in the collision and taken by air ambulance to Kings College Hospital, in London.

Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who saw the incident is asked to contact PC Ben French by calling 101, and quoting incident reference 24-0379.
