Fowler buried the puck with less than five minutes of the final session remaining.

The two sides had drawn 6-6 at the start of the season in the cup and on Sunday, Chelmsford were ahead after seven minutes and doubled their advantage with 17.42 on the clock.

The Dynamos responded in the second period with Andy Smith pulling the first goal back.
Smith was back with the Mos after the club’s all-time record points scorer came out of retirement.

The scores were level when Juraj Huska netted but the Chieftains got the upperhand again before the end of the period, to lead 3-2.

Smith set up Fowler to hit Mos’ third and the scores remained level, despite the visitors almost claiming a win at the end, with an effort that cannoned off the post.
