THE goals will come soon insists Gillingham's big money striker Simeon Jackson.
Three games into his spell at the club and Jackson is still waiting for his first strike but the 20-year-old remains sure of his own ability.
He said: "You know your job personally and you have to try and take that on and try and score goals and it will come.
"We create chances and it's going to come, it's just a case of plucking away. Everyone has to have confidence in their own ability."
Jackson had a frustrating game at Northampton and a lack of supply left him fighting a losing battle.
He admitted: "It was very tough. You have those games when you sometimes don't get on it and sometimes you do and you do well. It's about scoring and we didn't.
"We're in a fight, but you have to stand up and be counted. Everyone has to stay positive - we are and we'll be alright."
