Tonbridge fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home to Staines in Tommy Warrilow’s 300th match in charge on Saturday.

Visitors Staines went in front after 10 minutes at Longmead with a penalty from Louie Theophanous following a foul by goalkeeper Clark Masters.

Angels grew into the match and equalised four minutes after the break when Nathan Green ran on to Sonny Miles’ ball and beat keeper Kyle Merson.

Substitute Mark Lovell had the best chance to grab a late winner for Angels but headed straight at Merson from Green’s cross.

Staines also went close with Theophanous’ free-kick hitting Masters.
The draw leaves Angels 19th in Skrill South.
