All Kent schools forced to shutdown due to coronavirus pandemic

Thousands of households will now have to cope with the closures and it's not certain when they'll open again. Officials hope it will be weeks rather than months. The government think the move will slow down the amount of COVID-19 infections across the country. The current number of confirmed cases in Kent stand at 22 but many more are thought to have the disease. It means for secondary school students, there's an uncertain time ahead, with important GCSE and A-Level exams scheduled for next term.
