Ancient woodland at risk if Lower Thames crossing goes ahead

There are fears priceless heritage could be put at risk if controversial plans for the Lower Thames crossing get the go-ahead. The £6.8billion road would link Kent to Essex and ease congestion on the Dartford crossing. But critics say it will ruin local wildlife as well as historic landmarks.
