Councillors say they are furious at the decision not to house a specialist stroke unit at the Medway Maritime Hospital.As part of a £40 million shake up of stroke services in Kent and Medway, three hospitals will have the specialist units to replace the current care at six hospitals in the county.Although the Medway Hospital was shortlisted, it hasn't been chosen.
