How important is it that schools are assessed regularly by an independent body?

Ofsted has announced that it will change the way it rates schools across Kent by putting less of an emphasis on exam results. More than 16,000 pupils across the county will find out today whether they passed the Kent Test which would give them the chance to apply to grammar schools.
