As school gates swung open across Kent for the first time in 2 months, there was a mixed set of emotions. For parents it was a huge relief that home learning has come to an end while for pupils they were just excited to see their friends in person. For teachers it was a sense of trepidation about whether a host of new measures will prevent further covid outbreaks.
