A Kent MP's welcomed a new compensation scheme launched by Southeastern today. Tonbridge and Malling MP Tom Tugendhat says the new system will help passengers as they will be reimbursed for part of their fare if trains are delayed.But campaigners argue it is a hassle and they would rather the money was spent on keeping trains running smoothly.
