Queues across Kent as people rush to petrol stations amid HGV driver shortage

Stop fuelling panic on our forecourts, that's the message from experts who are urging people not to fill up their vehicles unless they have to as Kent's petrol stations have been flooded with customers. A shortage of HGV drivers means fuel isn't being delivered to petrol stations, with some of them - including one in Lenham - being forced to close. Howard Cox from Fairfuel UK says he predicts fuel prices could go up by as much as 4p in the next few weeks if people continue to flock to the county's stations.
