Remembering Kent's doodlebug summer 75 years on

On June 13, 1944, the first V1 missiles fell near Swanscombe in a terrifying twist to the war. Thousands of doodlebugs, effectively bombs with wings, were then launched against Kent, London and the rest of the south east, killing more than 6,000 people in England.
