Walk-in appointments at Medway's mass vaccination centre have been cancelled

People aged over 50 still needing their first coronavirus jab were invited to go to the Pentagon centre this morning. When the booking system went live, all available slots were booked up.But patients arriving this morning were turned away and the centre closed.A spokesperson for the Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the five mass vaccine centres across the county, say it was due to the early opening of the national system for the over 45s.
