Bobby Davro films Celebrity Antiques Roadshow at Maidstone's Trash or Treasure

Bobby Davro spent five hours in the Trash or Treasure second-hand shop in Maidstone.

The 60-year-old comedian was filming an episode of Celebrity Antiques Roadshow for the BBC with presenter Catherine Southon on Thursday.

But shop owner Jason Howard said Davro spent most of the time joking around and trying on hats and clothes, before he eventually decided to purchase some art nouveau frames.

The show entails celebrities trying to pick up a bargain to later sell at a higher price - with the proceeds going to charity.

Mr Howard revealed: "We let him haggle over the price and knock us down to less than we had paid - after all, it's all in a good cause."

The shop in Week Street has been in business for 10 years.
