Delays after bus and skip lorry get stuck on B2163 Lower Street in Leeds

Drivers are facing delays due to a bus and skip lorry getting jammed along a tight road.

The accident happened on the B2163 Lower Street in Leeds, near Maidstone.

The vehicles are stuck between a stone wall and a bank of foliage on the other side.

A driver who witnessed the incident added: “Don’t attempt Leeds village...well and truly wedged.”

As a result, Upper Street is also affected and there are long queues stretching along the road.

At 3.06pm, KCC Highways posted a warning on X, which said: “Delays in the area due to an RTC near George Lane junction. Approach with caution.”

It is not yet known if anyone was injured from the accident.
