A pensioner convicted of seven sexual offences has been jailed for 15 years.

Arthur Aldridge, of Glebe Lane, Maidstone, was found guilty of rape as well as two counts of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, two counts of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity and two counts of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration.

The 87-year-old was sentenced at Truro Crown Court in Cornwall on Thursday to 15 years in prison.
