The competition is open to anyone aged between six and 18.

The scholarship is being offered to mark the theatre school's recent success in becoming a finalist in the Club Hub Awards 2021.

In fact the school has been nominated as a finalist in the Community Business of the Year category while the school's principal Charlotte Olivares is a finalist for Leader of the Year, from more than 1,000 entrants.

Ms Olivares will have to wait until the Club Hub Event 2021 on Saturday, September 18, held in Birmingham, to discover whether she has won.

She said: "We are absolutely delighted. Our team have worked incredibly hard to support our students and our community throughout a very difficult time with the pandemic and we are so proud of this wonderful recognition.”

For a scholarship application form, email the club on maidstone@razzamataz.co.uk

The deadline for entries is Sunday, April 4.

A virtual audition day will be held on Sunday, April 11.
