Delays remain following an accident on Blue Bell Hill this morning.

A collision on the southbound carriageway, near the Shell petrol station, was reported at around 7am, and traffic has been moving slowly on the A229 ever since.

Kent Police and Highways England representatives were called to the incident but have since left the scene.

The vehicle involved was moved to the hard shoulder and normal traffic conditions should resume as soon as possible.

There were no injuries reported.
