Crews were called to a busy main road in Kent after a car caught fire by accident.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A20 near Hollingbourne, Maidstone, just after 12.10pm yesterday.
The responders battled the flames for almost 40 minutes, before extinguishing the blaze.
A fire service spokesman said: "No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental."
An eyewitness told KentOnline the blaze took place along the stretch of road outside the Mercure Hotel.
