Traffic has backed up on the M20 near Maidstone after several vehicles were involved in a crash.

Vehicles were held for 15 minutes after the accident earlier this morning and a lane remains closed.

The coastbound side is affected between Junction 4, which serves the A228 at Leybourne and Snodland and Junction 5 leading to Aylesford, Maidstone and Blue Bell Hill.

There are also delays on the M25 near Dartford, with queues building up towards Junction 30 in Essex after a lorry and a van collided.
