There are currently delays on the M20 at Maidstone following an accident involving a lorry and a car.

The slow moving traffic is between Junction 6 (Maidstone) and Junction 7 (Detling) on the coastbound carriageway of the motorway.

Kent County Council's highways department said drivers should approach with caution. Queues stretch back to Junction 5 (Aylesford).

The accident involved a Daf lorry and a Kia car. No-one was injured.
