Electric bike stolen near NatWest on the High Street, Maidstone

An e-bike estimated to be worth £3,000 which had been chained up by a town-centre bank has been stolen.

Witnesses are being sought by police after the Haibike, which is black with luminous green handlebars and was chained up outside NatWest on the High Street in Maidstone, near its junction with Week Street, was stolen between 10.30am and 10.40am on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident or has been offered the property for sale is urged to call the appeal line on 01622 604100, quoting reference number 46/16495/22.”
