Final four target Sunshine glory

THE ever-popular KM Sunshine Golf Challenge is down to the semi-finals.

Bob Davies (h12, Addington Palace) will take on Mike Fillingham (h8, Faversham) with Glenn Ford (h21, Southern Valley) playing Gregg Harrison (h18, Gillingham) for the right to represent the Kent Messenger Group at the national finals in Portugal between November 4-11.

The matches will take place at the picturesque Canterbury Golf Club on Friday, September 14.

With the champion for the past two years - Sittingbourne’s Steve Lovell - knocked out in the last 16 stage, there is guaranteed to be a new name on the trophy this year.

Who will hold their nerve best as they battle for an all-expenses paid trip to the sunny Algarve where they will play three rounds of competition golf against the other regional newspaper champions from all over the country?
